Scholarships

ASTA Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit subsidiary of the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA). The Foundation offers over 20 scholarships for the most qualified students in a bachelors, masters, doctoral, community college, or travel school program, and to travel professionals seeking to further their education.

ASTA Foundation awards will not be granted if there are no suitably qualified applicants, or if insufficient funds are generated by the end of the scholarship award year for a specific fund.

Scholarship Types

There are several different scholarship categories, ranging from international internship opportunities, professional development scholarships, research grants, non-travel major scholarships, and the traditional travel and tourism degree scholarships. Select a scholarship category to learn more:

There is a set of general requirements for all scholarships as well as specific requirements for the individual programs. Fulfilling all pertinent requirements will ensure the acceptance of your application.
